We had a great screening on Thursday night for our
new 48 hour film “Noah and The Time Therapist”. Big
thanks to all of the NealHam fans that came out to
support us. As said before, we couldn’t be happier
with our film this year. A lot of hard work went into
it from start to finish.
Be sure to check out the wall of shame as there are a
few new pics from behind the scenes and screening
after party.
Stay tuned for the web premiere of “Noah and The Time
Therapist”, which we will be posting on this very
site, very soon.
NealHam has once again completed a film in 48 hours
for the Portland 48 Hour Film Project. We are very
proud of our entry this year and would love for you
to come see it. Our film is screening this thursday,
August 14th, 7pm at the Hollywood Theater. Here’s
where you can buy your tickets online: 48 Hour Film
Project Tickets. I would get there at least 30 mins
early.
We hope to see you all at the screening! Of course,
soon after the screening we will post our new film
“Noah and The Time Therapist” online. So be checking
back for that!
Our pal Daniel Sharp finally posted his short film
about Sweetpea Bicycles that yours truly had the
pleasure of editing. Big thanks once again to Dan for
hooking us up with the gig.
In other news, our partner in crime Marshall Bradley
has finally gotten to the point of finishing his
short film; and there was much rejoycing. Opie 1,
edited once again by yours truly, will most likely be
released within the next few weeks. So stay tuned for
that.
And lastly, NealHam is once again gearing up for the
48 hour film project here in Portland. This year, as
always, we plan on taking the gold! So stay tuned for
more updates on everything right here at NealHam
headquarters!
Hello one and all. Yes, it has been some time since
the last update. The truth is, there are things going
on.
First off, there have been a lot of questions about
whether NealHam will be participating in the next 48
hour film project. The rumors have been non-stop,
flooding the media and the airwaves and I'm sure
you're as tired of hearing about this as we are. I
mean give us all a break already!
OF COURSE WE'RE DOING THE DAMN THING! Not only will
we participate, but our film is going to melt your
freakin' face off and set fire to you house at the
same time! So get ready all you other so-called
"filmmaking" groups, cause the HAM is comin' for YOU!
In other news, yet another short piece has been
completed for NAU.COM. Big thanks to photographer
Dan Sharp for that one! I would
post a link to where you can see the edit, but
apparently NAU is going out of business. See
what the HAM can do people? Once the video has
been posted to wherever it's going to be posted,
the link will be posted.
We promise to pay more attention to the site from now
on. More content is sure to come, we have a good
feeling about it. So keep us in your bookmarks, and
if you erased us, you're out of the club!
That's right, "Tales From The
Bottle" will be on the "Drinking with Ian" show airing on
a Minneapolis TV station this week. Our newly
found friend Brian, who just HAD to get a hold
of us because he loved Tales so much, describes
the show as, "A chaotic late-night show that
includes guests, bands, short films, and lots of
liquor." So yeah, it's right up our alley!
Big thanks to Brian and all the people involved in
"Drinking with Ian" for the opportunity. Here's
another link that explains the show a little more:
Drinking with Ian
Also, in NealHam news, we now have a nice Flickr
badge on the home page. So click on the images and
check out the pictures. Do it!
Well, we finally have every NealHam film uploaded and
running on vimeo. We also uploaded a few special
features for "The Button Pusher". You can check those
out by going to "The Button Pusher"
film page and clicking on the 2 links at the
bottom. We'll also soon be uploading one more
special feature, some old behind the scenes
footage from "Remembering Bob". I recently found
it while going through my horribly messy closet.
So all web updates are pretty much complete. We
hope you enjoy the new NealHam website and stay
tuned for more to come!
*UPDATE*
The behind the scenes footage from "Remembering Bob"
has been posted! Check it out at the bottom of the
"Remembering Bob"
film page.
From now on all films here at NealHam will be hosted
by "Vimeo", one of many online video sharing sites.
Now everyone should be able to view them. You might
also notice that the size, quality, and overall
presentation has been greatly improved. We should
have every film uploaded and going by the end of this
week. So start watching them, and tell all your
friends.
Sorry for the lack of updates but there has been yet
another NealHam website overhaul as you can see.
You'll notice that this is a little more drastic than
our previous redesigns. That's because we wanted a
new look and new feel to start off o 08. All of the
usual content is here. We have finally made a
complete blog where you can post your comments if
you'd like.
There are still a few films that need to be uploaded
to YouTube, but all in due time. Right now you'll
just have to deal with quicktime for the time being.
We hope you enjoy the new look. It took a long damn
time to build, so you better.
Thanks and stay tuned for more site updates and
whatever else.
